Region Info/Origin
South Eastern Australia is a massive region. It covers New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, and parts of South Australia and Queensland. It is home to most of the country's people, major cities (like Sydney and Melbourne), and famous wine country.
Climate: The coast is cool, but inland areas get very hot. In winter, the South Eastern Highlands often get frost and snow.
Wine: Because the area is so big, "South Eastern Australia" is a famous wine label. Wineries blend grapes from different parts of the region to make value-for-money wines.
