Winery Info/Brand
Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey is a highly regarded Burgundy producer based in Chassagne-Montrachet, founded in the early 2000s by Pierre-Yves Colin and his wife Caroline Morey. After leaving his family domaine (Marc Colin), Pierre-Yves built his own reputation with a strong focus on precision, purity, and terroir expression, especially for white wines. The domaine farms about 13 hectares across top Côte de Beaune villages, working sustainably with old vines. Winemaking is minimalist: whole-cluster pressing, native yeasts, long aging in larger barrels, little new oak, no bâtonnage, and no filtration. The wines are known for their energy, minerality, balance, and aging potential, making Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey one of the most sought-after names in modern white Burgundy.
