Santiago Graffigna was an Italian immigrant and pioneering winemaker who founded Graffigna Winery in San Juan, Argentina, in 1870. He is considered one of the key figures in the development of Argentina’s wine industry, especially in the San Juan region. The Graffigna winery became one of the oldest and most historic wineries in Argentina, known for producing Malbec, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and other wines.
