Founded in 1760 in Reims, Lanson is one of the oldest Champagne Houses, with a rich heritage spanning over 265 years. As a family-owned Maison, Lanson has remained true to the lasting values that define the brand. Le Black Label, now Le Black Création, was named in 1937 by Victor Lanson as a sign of its openness and in tribute to the Royal Court of England. Today, the Maison continues to combine heritage, craftsmanship, freshness and creativity, evolving while remaining faithful to its roots.

Based in Reims, at the heart of the Champagne region, Maison Lanson has access to a 400-hectare grape supply, including 60 ha owned by the House, with 8 ha farmed. The Maison works with generational growers across 100 Crus, including 50% Grand Cru and Premier Cru. Their historic press houses, a single-plot cuverie, and the “Chai Bois” allow Lanson to preserve the character of each Cru and develop its reserve wines. Continuous investment and innovation further enhance the precision and character of its Champagnes.
