Bordeaux second labels, are not different from its much illustrious, well-known counterpart. They are made from the same grapes grown on the same plot, same winemaker and even same wine barrel and cellars. The difference is that these grapes, comes from younger vines, which are usually ten to twelve years younger.
And these grapes do not have the concentration and aging ability required of the great wines, thus are set aside for the second wines.

But do not underestimate these second labels, as they offer great value and younger wine of these illustrious labels yet ready to be experienced without aging.
So why not give these second labels a taste and you may just discover one you enjoy without breaking the bank.
