Winery Info/Brand
The name "Jas" refers to a small stone house or known as a shepherds hut in Provence. The area that used to be a shelter place became well-known over the years, and today, Chateau Jas de Bressy spreads over 5.5 hectares in the Chateauneuf du Pape appellation to produce Chateauneuf du Pape and Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc vintages. The red grape varietals are planted on gravel with small rocks over the sand and red clay sub soil while one hectare is dedicated to plant white grape varietals which harvests well due to the gifted cooler climate.
