In this area, Izadi plants tempranillo on lime clay soils. With the microclimate influence from the Cantabria mountains and the Ebro river, it assures low yield and small grapes but with great quality. Izadi produces around 900,000 bottles of the following brands: Izadi blanco fermentado en barrica, Izadi crianza, Izadi el regalo reserva e Izadi expresión.
Region Info/Origin
Rueda is a wine region at the heart of the Iberian Peninsula, located just northwest of the Spanish capital, Madrid. It is known for its dry, aromatic white wines made predominantly from Verdejo, with small quantities of Viura and Sauvignon Blanc. These fresh, aromatic whites are an ideal complement to the heavy Tempranillo-based reds of neighbouring Toro.
