Winery Info/Brand
Set in the heart of the Bages plateau, the entrance to the famous town of Pauillac is a beautiful 18th century mansion surrounded by an intimate vineyard of two hectares. Bought in 1985 by Jean-Michel Cazes, owner of Château Lynch-Bages, the addition of several plots of vines to the estate lead to the revival of a great wine whose reputation is now at its height.
Region Info/Origin
Pauillac is home to several of the world's most famous wine and the region lies in an inauspicious small village in Médoc. Pauillac sprawls over the land size of about 8.8 square miles, is highly optimised for wine production and accounts for a rather disproportionate amount of fine, expensive wine in Bordeaux.
